The US led and promoted "War on Terrorism," with its revolving "evil" enemies is nothing more than a family feud. A long time ago, about the same time as recorded history began, two new religions were borne from perceived birthrights. A couple of thousand years later, a third, bastard player got into the game and took sides with their less distant cousins, the Jews. It's been a two-sided fight ever since ... sort of.
The Jews and the Christians haven't always been allies. And the ongoing relationship flops this way and that, depending on the resources at stake. In todays world, the Jews want the Christians to pay their debts for past persecution and for Hitler. US Christians shoulda, coulda, woulda if they'd known the truth and not been fed anti-semetic propaganda blaming Jewish bankers and businessmen for the Great Depression: stopped Hitler's "war against terrorism" he waged to make the "homeland" safer and more secure for its citizens. But those buggers were everywhere and nations that harbored those terrorists were held accountable. They were invaded, their cities and farmlands descimated. The terrorists were routed out of their homes, businesses and schools and held in confinement centers.
When the public outcry reached a frenzy, the US stepped in and liberated Hitler's victims. When the public outcry demanded peaceful means to an end with Afghanistan and Iraq, our commander in chief made it clear he would not be swayed by demonstrations or demonstrators. What the hell is democratic about that? Could it be that the US administration is less concerned with spreading democracy as he is with building empire? With one "Patriot Act" already in place, how long will it be before this facist regime labels me a disident or, more likely, a terrorist ally?
First of all, let it be known that all the terrorists I've known in my life are dead or dying. The Ace of Spades was my stepfather, Robert LeRoy Smith, who was a convicted child molester and died while on vacation in California months after his retirement. Next in the deck was my husband of seventeen years and father of five of my children. He died suddenly from an embolism four years after we divorced. The Joker takes the cake, though. I won't go into details but his most recent photos show him in a wheelchair, all ruddy faced and fat. I guess what goes around, comes around, after all.
The best part of this is that the first two in the deck were Christians and the last is a self-professed God. Some of the worst things in the world were done in the name of one god or another. Now, in this armaggedon-ripe world of ours, new wars are being fought for the cause of righteousness against evil. I've heard that Franklin Graham, son of reknowned evangelist Billy Graham, is President Bush's spiritual advisor. Franklin Graham says that Islam isn't a valid religion.. Is that what President Bush believes? Does he think he was appointed to the presidency by his God to fulfill biblical prophecy? Does the Israeli-Palestinian feud over a strip of land and a birthright feed this notion, in any way?
Who is it that influences George Bush Jr's thinking anyway? His father? Franklin Graham? Karl Rove? What I really can't understand is how President Bush can possible think these new wars are his idea formed by his own ideology. The proof for the March 2003 invasion of Iraq lies in a document published in 2000, the principles of which were signed by the following people in 1997: Elliott Abrams, Gary Bauer, William J. Bennett, Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Eliot A. Cohen, Midge Decter, Paula Dobriansky, Steve Forbes, Aaron Friedberg, Fancis Fukuyama, Frank Gaffney, Fred C. Ikle, Donald Kagan, Zalmay Khalilzad, I. Lewis Libby, Norman Podhoretz, Dan Quayle, Peter W. Rodman, Stephan P. Rosen, Henry Sl Rowen, Donald Rumsfeld, Vin Weber, George Weigel and Paul Wolfowitz. It is called The New American Century Project and it is not hidden or dressed-up in any way that could possible confuse the average, thinking American. The plan is the next step in implementing George Bush Sr's New World Order. It is, unashamedly, about world dominance.
Lots of people know about the project, many people visit the website and certain newsgroups are littered with discourse about it. I am proud to say that I started one or two off-topic threads on the subject in alt.www.webmaster, home to thinking people all over the world. I've had the benefit of every point of view, every perspective ... I've heard every arguement, every denial. I've been called a typical liberal - as if that is a bad thing, a dirty word - and one guy suggested that I was into beastiality with my three-month-old, female puppy.
My president says he won't listen to me when I tell him I've had enough violence, enough power and control games, enough mind-control and brainwashing, enough hate and enough war. Plenty of babies have died at the hands of George Bush; pick a generation. Plenty of our bravest boys have made the ultimate sacrifice; plenty of parents and wives and siblings walk with broken hearts and beaten spirits; plenty of aging hippies are still alive, able and willing to pick up the battle where we left off.
If Jason Blair can admit he made stuff up, why can't George Bush Jr.? This isn't rocket science, folks. Do the research, analyze the facts for yourself, pay close attention from this moment on and ... hey, maybe there could be hope for the world, yet.
