In Fictitious Times ...

An Imaginary Interview With TechnoHippie by Judy DeNeal

Peace Flag
"These are fictitious times we live in." -- Michael Moore

Q: Why don't you offer website design anymore?

A: I'm at a crossroad. If the world and my government continue on the current path, I'm moving to the hills in a about a year. I could use a couple of design jobs to fund my need to purchase a laptop, but I'm not committed, at this time, to do business.

Q: Why do you "need" to get a laptop?

A: Because I'm moving off-grid. I don't want a satelite connection to a pc ... big brother isn't invited. I need a laptop to take to "town" and plug into the 'net from time to time. If I can't, the Triangle will disappear forever.

Q: It wouldn't be the end of the world if the Triangle died out, would it?

A: No. It would be the end of a community ... of a tribe and an ilk. Maybe I'm the only one who cares. I don't know ...

Q: So, why don't you just go out and buy a laptop?

A: Because I live on $552/mo disability checks and it doesn't fit into my budget.

Q: (laughs) It seems you've got a champagne taste with a beer budget.

A: That wasn't a question. I can't afford beer, either.

Q: Ah. Ah. (squirms) Do you have any last words for our readers? Anything you want to leave them with?

A: Rest in peace. Boom or bust. But, get off your asses and at least TRY!
